Zach uses more than two decades of financial services experience and the same passion for serving others that initially prompted him to become a police officer to help his clients work toward their retirement goals with well-thought-out strategies.
Zach previously helped clients at BB&T, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and Nationwide Financial before founding Fleming Financial Partners, LLC, an independent financial firm. As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designee from the College of Financial Planning, Zach teams with his wife, Fleming Financial Managing Partner Jamie Fleming, to help families prepare for their ideal retirements through prudent income planning.
Zach began his adult life as a sworn police officer in Norfolk, Virginia. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree, he went on to earn his master’s degree from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada.
While pursuing his master’s, Zach worked as a Research and Policy Analyst for the Vancouver Police Department, as a consultant to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and taught university research methods and statistics courses.

Jamie brings the work ethic she learned and honed growing up on a family farm to her mission of helping families and individuals prepare for retirement joy and freedom.
As Managing Partner of Fleming Financial Partners, LLC, Jamie maintains a special focus on helping women navigate various financial issues. She and her husband, Fleming Financial President Zach Fleming, are passionate about developing financial strategies designed to help meet their clients’ retirement income needs.
After being raised on her family farm in Granite Falls, North Carolina, Jamie began her financial services career in 1989. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Gardner-Webb University while working full time as a single mother of two girls.
